Your first 45-minute drum lesson will be about accessing your rhythmic ability and of course, your all round music ability. Understanding a preferred way to take in and assimilate information is vitally important too, as everyone is different. Lessons are very chilled out, fun and informative, so depending on your ability and confidence to do so, I always like to encourage students to end their first lesson on a high, by playing along to their favourite artist or band and having established a way forward for future lessons.
