Once again, assuming you already have an electric kit, the next best option is playing your kit through a drum amp. You can use a practice bass amp but for the best sound possible sound, a dedicated drum amp is best.
After you connect you drum brain with a 2m long 3.5mm Stereo Jack Plug to 2 x 6.35mm (1/4") Mono Audio Cable to your drum amp, you'll need to create a Zoom account and adjust the audio settings to suppress any background noise. To see the setup for Mac click here and if you have Windows, click here. It's a pretty straightforward process but I can talk you through the details during a taster session.
When you have the drums and amp working and your Zoom set up working correctly, all you need to do is position the laptop so it's about 3 feet from the amp, roughly behind your shoulder or slightly to the side of you. This allows me to see how you're sitting, holding your sticks and striking the drums. If you're ready to get started, click the 'Contact Me' tab today.
